Magnetic and Pneumatic Grabbers

A key component to any fire station exhaust system is the vehicle exhaust attachment nozzle. Our Plymovent exhaust removal systems feature a variety of sealed grabber nozzle designs, both pneumatic and magnetic. These grabbers connect to tailpipes and virtually eliminate the ability for exhaust fumes to escape into a fire or EMS station’s garage area.

Plymovent Sliding Balancer Track Systems

Specifically designed for single vehicle back-ins and drive-through applications, Plymovent sliding balancer track fire station exhaust systems feature automatically-adjusting pneumatic nozzles and simple magnetic nozzles. The system utilizes either 4-inch or 5 inch high-temp exhaust hoses which stay attached to the fire engine’s tailpipe until it exits the station. After it automatically disconnects from the exhaust pipe, the system will retract smoothly back into position.

Plymovent Sliding Balancer Horizontal Track Systems

Sliding balancer horizontal track systems are designed for single-vehicle back-in applications with a low ceiling height which restricts the size of the overhead vehicle exhaust system which can be installed. These systems use pneumatic and magnetic nozzles and are fully automatic, including fan activation upon connection and nozzle disconnect upon vehicle exit.

Plymovent Straight-Rail Systems

Typically installed in fire stations with single or multi-vehicle drive-thru apparatus bays, Plymovent straight-rail fire station exhaust systems slide the length of the station, releasing automatically at the existing door and can be designed to retract automatically back to the entrance. These systems use pneumatic and magnetic nozzles, solid aluminum rail profiles, and high-temp hoses for easy, reliable, long-lasting operation.

Plymovent Vertical Stack Rail Systems

The Plymovent vertical stack rail fire station exhaust system is designed for fire vehicles with vertical exhaust pipes. Fitting any size of exhaust pipe, these systems float freely with nearly 12 inches of lateral travel to either side, and return automatically to position after release. Plymovent vertical stack rail systems are fully automated from fan start to disconnect and designed for strength and durability.

Safety Disconnect Handles

Our safety disconnect handles can be integrated with both pneumatic and magnetic fire station and vehicle exhaust systems, allowing the lower section of hose to disconnect in the event that the nozzle fails to disconnect automatically or manual disconnection is neglected. These safety disconnect handles are easy to use, ergonomic, and easily reattachable without the use of tools.
